Machined from a solid casting, these machining center guideways are thermally treated and ground. Anti-friction plastic and forced lubrication is provided to mating surfaces. These CNC bridge-type machining centers include re-circulating ballscrews that are placed symmetrically to the guideways and driven by high torque AC brushless servo motors. Rotary type measuring systems are directly coupled to the ballscrews of these CNC VMC's (linear measuring system is optional).
