The “Willis” PK 40120-10 big bore conventional lathe is great for the oil country. Our hollow spindle, geared head lathes are designed to meet the demanding requirements of today’s oil industry. These PK series conventional lathes are used primarily for turning and threading large diameter or oil field parts. Examples include, drill pipe, wash pipe, pins, and casing connectors used in the energy industry. These large bore conventional lathes are also great for machining large diameter tubes, shafts and cutting a wide range of inch or metric threads; A.P.I. tapered, modular, or diametric.

| The PK 40120-10 has a universal gear box that provides a full range of threads and feeds. in addition, the “Willis” PK conventional lathes will carry out boring applications, machine tapered holes and external cylindrical surfaces, like pipe. These metalworking lathe machines feature large spindle bores with front and rear mounted chucks. These conventional oil country lathes are also designed for maximum performance in heavy production operations. |
